In order to open cabinet doors usually handles are mounted on the front of the door or push-to-open fittings are used. By positioning the doors in an oblique way, instead of aligning them plane, the edge of the door panels becomes accessible and with this can function as a handle. Furthermore a three-dimensional and relief-like frontside of the furniture comes into being which distinguishes the Oblique Storage System from others that have plane surfaces and thus looking very similar.
