Floater is a clearly reduced suspension lamp that creates a circular light spot for use in a decorative as well as in a functional manner. Composed of two cylindrical parts the appearance reminds of an archetypical stamp that marks the light on things and objects that are located underneath the lamp. The long stick accentuates the vertical line that usually would be defined by a cable connecting the lamp with the suspension point on the ceiling. In this case a nearly unvisible nylon cord takes its place and the actual cable hits the stick sideways whereby the lamp seems to float in the air elevated by the cable.
