The idea of Drop Lamp is to expose what usually is hidden. The extruded profile is modified and therewith transformed into a beautiful and adorable object that still fulfills its original function as a heat sink but furthermore becomes an eye catcher. Shaped like a drop the single fins now seem to twist and revolve as being in motion. What was rigid and industrial before now becomes dynamic, soft and domestic.
